WebJun 26, 2014 · I had only ever used Costar stabilizers up until I got my Ducky Shine 3 last week and, despite all the chatter about Costars being superior to the Cherry stabilizers, I found myself immediately partial to the Cherry stabilizers. I find my keycaps better balanced (i.e., no wobble) and they are, indeed, easier to remove. WebStep 2 lube the stabs with dielectric grease or any lube you like. Finally test. For your current situation without purchasing new stabilizers I’d try to get a paint brush and put lube in-between where the metal stab bar sits inside of each housing to lube it a bit, the more lube you put the less wobbly it’ll be.

WebWorks well. Usually the bandaid mod works well for this, but its important to know that some wobble is normal, a perfect fit isnt to expected with every pcb thickness. Id say 99% of boards use 1.6mm PCBs and you wont be able to clip in a PCB mount if its anything thicker. So this doesnt really make sense. It will prevent them from shaking so much and prevent the movement from making noise. Just pack them thick, take up all the space with grease. It's because you're using knockoff stabilizers and not cherry ones.
