Webhe inspiration for this basket was an antique spoked construction Indian basket that Judy Drury brought to the 1990 Summer Retreat of the Northeast Basketmakers Guild. This unusual basket was made of black ash and had a cover and handle. Both WebSandra has been teaching basketry across the Northeast for several years and is a member of the National Basketry Organization (NBO), Basketmakers Association, Northeast Basketmakers Guild and the American Craft Council. She regularly exhibits her work at the Mikhail Zakin Gallery in New Jersey.
